> Why is the EA shown in grey?

Our Expert Advisors are shown in grey because they don’t have open source codes. That’s fine. It is not a problem at all. They will still work fine if they have the Smiling Face on the top right of the attached graph. Template MT4 experts like “MACD Sample” and “Moving Average” are free samples with open source and that’s why they are shown in yellow.

Additionally, the closed source or .EX4 format of the Universal BOSS Expert Advisor prevents any possibility of disbursement through the vast network of Forex Blogs that are currently on the Internet.  They do not transfer .EX4 files.  Open source (yellow) software may be posted and downloaded by everyone.

Most Common Problem:  I unzipped files and dropped them into the “expert” folder for Metatrader, but they do not show up on the “navigator” list on the meta platform.

The problem could be that you have several Metatraders installed on your PC. Check if you copied them to the correct folder of the correct MT copy.

Also, be sure to RE-START your Metatrader Platform.
