Better Backtest Modeling Quality
Back testing is not an exact science. The results shown on this web site may or may not match your own. The data your broker provides and chart mismatch errors present when back testing will change the final outcome greatly. Every effort has been made to attain and use the most accurate historical information/data available.
In order to achieve a better back test modeling quality:
1. Click on the TOOLS tab at the top of your platform. Then click on the HISTORY CENTER button. The image below should be what you see:
2. Click on currency pair & timeframe desired
3. Hit the Download button. This may take 5 - 20 minutes depending on quantity of data.
4. When finished Hit the CLOSE button. The information will update automatically. You should now have increased your modeling quality. Please note: only THAT currency pair and time frame (downloaded) will have been affected when back testing. Repeat the process for other currency pairs & time frames.
5. If your modeling quality has not improved, then we may need to fill in the gaps. Begin downloading a lesser time frame. This will usually increase modeling quality to 90% (maximum levels).
